How many?

Some here are wondering aloud why Xebec is underperforming today.

Xebec is a victim of its own growth in the global market.

It's being penalized for its growth in a way.
The growth of its global footprint.

How many Canadian small-caps do you know of that have extensive operations in Europe?
Not many.

HyGear is headquartered in Belgium and Inmatec is headquartered in Germany.
Their revenue streams are pan-European.

Companies like GreenLane are relatively insulated by their primarily North American markets.

Based on the contribution of revenues of the European divisions, it makes no sense to be down this much relative to the other cleantech stocks. I'll keep it simple wrt underperfomance; 1) short selling (opportune timing with market fears) 2) technical selling (hitting new lows)

Do you think the Board has a fiduciary obligation to conduct an audit of recent share performance in conjunction with the relevant reporting authority?
Comment by Ciao on Feb 24, 2022 4:26pm
The NASDAQ is up 3% for the day.  Of the cleantech stocks I follow, only XBC is down. It has underperformed by 3 to 15%. There is no fundamental reason for the weaker relative performance today nor for the past few months to the point that is trading at .7X BV and 1.9X trailing P/S (or about 1X 2022 P/S) whereas others are at easily 3X BV and 3X P/S.  Q4 will be out in a few weeks ...more

If I had shorted Xbc, today would have been a perfect day to clean up the sheet.  I can hardly imagine it going back to high 1.30s anytime very soon. I would have taken profits right now and then.  And maybe many of them have done so. Today had 1.74M volume on TSX. Not all those were stop loss. GLTA

Agree entirely, but what's the remedy? Did you see my previous post about the Board?

The bid is 1.38 TT.  Make your move.
