Still questioning everything

How did this possibly happen? I thought I'd thoroughly vetted this. The CEO of TD remained on the board till the end, and the biggest pension fund in Quebec invested $62 million @$5.60 in December 2020. I've been through Enron and Worldcom and Tyco and Nortel and BreEx. This was absolutely the last outcome I thoroughly was even remotely possible. Absolutely zero consolidation for shareholders.

They must have a plan behind this move. They must have decided not to burn all the cash they have on hand. I am very optimistic and still believes that they will come back strong after making some adjustments in their current business model. Or they will be bought out by a big player. So let's hope for the best. Cheers

Why are you optimistic? I agree it's not a done deal our xebec stock goes to zero, but it's certainly a likely outcome

Management couldn't have done a better job if their top priority was to destroy this company. I'm an idiot. Still in a state of complete disbelief. How the f did they burn through almost $20 million in cash since June 30th and not realize they had to take remedial action to shore up the balance sheet? It's completely negligent. Totally absurd. Incomprehensible.

OK, I'll bite and play Devil's Advocate re. CTS just for fun. Financial Statements dated June 30, 2022: - Too much debt (Current Ratio and D/E Ratio). A small cap company holding this kind of debt in a rising interest rate environment is just asking for trouble IMO. - Goodwill (422M) represents approximately 24% of Total Assets, so CTS either acquired a number of outstanding companies ...more

I do not have a specific link to suit and I don't know if Caisse is specifically involved but someone had to intiiate the suit and I would think they stood to lose a ton of money soon after closing deal.It is in fact a Class action suit. Just type ...March 2021 XBC Lawsuit... into Google and it will come up immediately. Also type in ..LEX GROUP Class action against XBC.... They are the legal ...more

1) I don't think you can sue a company during the CCAA process or if/when they declare bankruptcy. 2) If XBC comes out the other end with a re-structuring plan that includes their old shares being worthless and new shares being issued and available for purchase by the next round of "investors", you may not be able to sue the "old" company as it may legally be viewed as no ...more

TT...starting to sound like a lot of CYA coming from you. Biggest Pension Fund in Quebec immediately turned around and sued  XBC in early 2021 I believe for misleading information in the prospectus as well as some BS restatement of the financials 2020 year end!.Sounds like they have been misleading people since it ran to $12.00. Anyone hear of any Class Action suits yet. might be an easy one ...more
