They Need Financing

In the absence of an interim financing, at some point xebec will likely have no alternative but to implement additional cash preservation measures, while ensuring the preservation of the value its assets. Measures could include temporary layoffs of employees, resiliation or termination of certain agreements, the scale back and/or shut-down of business locations, as well as negotiations with respect to leases and/or other agreements. Xebec's preferred path to maximize the value of the businesses would be to avoid these measures or limit them as much as possible, hence the continuation of the discussions pertaining to a potential interim financing. Without interim financing, the operations would need to be greatly reduced.

The problem is that no one wants to buy Immatec, and if they do it will be a low ball offer. Another one of Kurt Sorschack's visionary moves.
