Xpeng better than Tesla?

If we believe He Xiaopeng, Xpeng could pass Tesla for the first time in 2021. Are there any news on the december-sales? When will the LIDAR sensors be available for Xpeng? With that, Xpeng may be superior to Tesla.

Xpeng will never be "better" than Tesla. If Xpeng can win the race in autonomous driving then they will be entering a trillion dollar market and they will do very well. I imagine news of December sales will be released Monday the 4th when the market opens again. Fingers crossed for good numbers. Dano

that depends on what "better" means. Even if they produce a million ev vehicules per year in China, with a population estimated to be about 2 billion in 2030 and 1/5 individuals needing a vehicule, they would still need 400 years to match that demand...
