ALYI (It’s Moving!), NDX, APM, DRV, PBT, OXIHF

I plan on doing another blog in a few days, as there is a lot going on with most of the six companies I'm blogging about today. Stay tuned.

    ALYI

Alternet is up over 33% since September 1st - and volume is climbing. IMHO, the run has started and it’s a very strong buy. Here's why:

    - The technical charts are calling this a screaming buy. Go to http://www.barchart.com/, plug in ALYI – and look at all the indicators. I myself lean much more toward fundamental analysis, especially with juniors/microcaps, but ALYI's technical/chart strength is very telling.

    - There is a 5 to 6 million share short position. The holder of that short has asked the company if he can do a financing in order to cover the short and he's been denied – vehemently! In my best estimate the average price of shares shorted is between 8 and 10 cents. The shorter must be getting increasingly uncomfortable as the SP goes higher and higher and at some point he will be forced to cover – in the market.

    - ALYI was set to roar before the financial crisis. They have since stuck to their knitting and built on their previous work building their contract base. I believe we are going to see some game-changing numbers - and soon.

    - I have seen an Executive Summary and the planned growth in their 5-year Business Plan is sweeping. Revenues well north of a $100 million as well as a 10% Americas (North, South, Central and Caribbean) market share are planned. (More on this in my next blog.)

    - Mobile commerce and mobile security are the way of the future. Alternet has partnered with Singapore-based technology provider Utiba Pte., a global leader used by 400 million subscribers and successfully implemented in 33% of the world's mobile commerce deployments. Alternet's Utiba Americas is a majority-owned subsidiary with exclusive rights in the Americas to market the Utiba Mobility software suite and build a regional "hosted" mobile commerce platform.

    - The eyeballs on this company have been growing rapidly. I believe we are going to see a lot more buyers, putting upward pressure on the SP (and the shorter)

The proper quote on ALYI as of Friday's close was
    .058 to
.06 and it can be found at http://www.otcmarkets.com/home. If you try another site and there is a big spread in the quote, you are getting an incorrect quote. For those with online brokers, you'll probably have to call in to make your trade.

For more DD, try http://www.alternetsystems.com/. And the video is quite informative.

    NDX

I'm doing more DD and should have a blog devoted to NDX in a few days. I will say, that having read the proxy that was sent out I'm left wondering questions, such as:

    - Where are the new coal-related Directors that were promised by Neil MacDonald?

    - Why are the new Directors Vancouver people?

    - Why is there no reference to an IR team? Right now the SP is way down and they don't have any IR (and I won't go into the huge loss of OceanPoint).

In following the bouncing ball, I've found some other things that really have raised my eyebrows. Please go to my other blogs if you don't know my previous DD on NDX. And please get your proxy and go the AGM. If you can't make it, I will be putting forward like-minded shareholders you can talk to who can vote your shares in an intelligent and strategic fashion. Otherwise, management will probably get to vote your shares. Here is a repeat of my post re proxies:

"The value date for NDX is September 13 - meaning, if you held shares of NDX on that date, then you are entitled to a proxy for them. When you filled out a brokerage account, unless you made sure that you were going to receive correspondence from public companies you own (ie. ticked a box or left it blank, etc.), then you may not get it. MAKE SURE YOU ARE GOING TO GET THE PROXY FORMS - IE. CALL YOUR BROKERAGE RE THIS, ASAP!

The proxy forms are going to be mailed out by Computershare on the 28th of September. The direct account manager responsible for NDX proxy forms is Melanie Chan, who can be reached at 604-661-9415. She is a nice, competent person and will help you get your proxy material if you have any problems with the brokerage.

I believe the AGM to be on the 28th of October. Unless you have your ducks in a row on this, you will not get to vote. I will continue to post on issues re this - and if you need any more help re this, inbox me."

The next month is crucial for Novadx. If we don't see them on the right track re LOI’s contracts, debt, Management, Directors, coal people, etc. etc., we can make the changes needed.

I know financial pros that can help the company big-time, but they have been (stunningly) rebuffed by a Management that is selling cheap shares to their friends and that is demonstrably terrible at corporate finance. NDX if handled properly can be in great shape in record time – and we the shareholders need that. Enough is enough!

    APM

The volume is very strong, which is needed as there is a decent amount on the sell side which needs to be worked through. Management did a financing a ways back with some stock brokers who are rushing to sell in order to be able to use those monies for other PPs. Do these guys even know what's happening with APM? I highly doubt it. Their clients will not be happy that they sold APM.

Amerix Management inspires great confidence and I know of some very strong pros that are getting in. This, my belief that a very strong drill program/financing is coming and a start on the Net Smelter Royalty (IMHO we're a few months away) lead me to believe the upward pressure and strong volume will continue.

APM in my opinion, is a strong buy.

    DRV

I previously blogged that, IMHO, DRV would run by the end of Sept. Well, my call was early, but IMHO, the table is being set for a move upwards and a heck of a lot of drilling - encompassing the Aguila, the Ichuna - and the Corongo. If they aren't all drilling by December, I believe it's January at the latest - for all three. Note that many Confidentiality Agreements have been signed and pre-drilling work is occurring.

Aguila is shaping up very nicely and I believe Management can put a large drill program in place. The drill results that are supposed to come from DRV's neighbour, the Mexican giant, Penoles, by year-end, should definitely shine a huge light on the Aguila.

The Ichuna was a da-n great acquisition by Duran. They got the Property for $1.2 million and were offered $2 million for it months later. My guess is it is now worth many multiples more than that right now and that Goldfield's and Bueneventura are very interested in it. Remember, the Goldfields head called their mineral find near DRV the biggest find in South America in years.

The Corongo JV is moving forward and is a good deal for all.

When I buy a mining company, I want to make sure that they can make moves that will improve the companies’ fundamental value and SP - even though they may not yet be drilling. That is smart, conservative thought. DRV has very strong Management and a lot of bench strength on the BOD. These guys are not the type to sit around – and they haven’t. I foresee things coming together publicly shortly and a corresponding move in the SP.

    OXIHF

Stay tuned, people. Oxford, IMHO, is getting things done.

    PBT

I've done a lot of DD on PBT. I have to say that I like a lot of what I see and I like a lot of what the company is putting forth. That doesn't mean necessarily mean that I believe that anything is going to happen with their fundamentals. And it means that until I see Management do some of what they say, I'm not going to spread what up to now has just been hot air.

IMHO, PBT was a buy at 4 cents. I still stick by that - but no higher for now.
