    Many fund managers may have waited too long for the markets to correct - in particular thinking that would occur this summer. Now they may be faced with forced buying just to put money to work and show they are doing their job and not just sitting on the sidelines when investors could have done that themselves - it looks bad on a funds books to be too heavily weighted to cash.

     

    If that is the case, this is a positive development for the markets both large and small because there are Trillions siding on the sidelines (globally) and interest rates remain very low.
