Markets south of the border also continued lower, as investors returned from a President’s Day break to an escalation in tensions between Russia and Ukraine. Traders continue to try to assess by how much and how quickly the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates to tame inflation.

Ukraine conflict is camouflaging the real reason why the markets are rattling. Conflicts are typically good for stocks because the Gov't spends more on defense and that money rotates into the economy. Inflation is what the real reason markets are rattled. Stocks have had a tremendous run since Central Bankers began bond purchasing and keeping rates too low for too long.
