Canada’s TSX index ended Friday with a gain, pushing it into positive territory for the week after a slow start, thanks to concerted efforts from telecom, industrial and technology stocks. Top gainers include Hut 8 (10.58%), PetroTal (6.66%) and Nutrien (3.6%).

U.S. stocks managed to recover from recent weakness, mostly thanks to mega-cap names like NVIDIA (4.45%) and Tesla (8.22%), though they still saddled investors with a weekly loss. Other top gainers include Cerence (143.7%), Rivian Automotive (24.45%) and Palantir Technologies (6.3%). The S&P 500 fell for the third week out of the past four.
