Investors have reacted to reports that the U.S. plans to tighten Nvidia chip export restrictions to China and is consulting allies like Japan and the Netherlands on broader semiconductor controls.

And President Donald Trump reaffirmed Monday that tariffs on Canadian and Mexican imports remain “on time and on schedule,” despite both nations ramping up border security and fentanyl crackdowns ahead of the March 4 deadline.
