Banro Corp. (
TSX: T.BAA,
Stock Forum) shares eased 3.2% to 15 cents Monday after the company said it had achieve record production of 38,236 ounces of gold in the fourth quarter of 2014 from two mines in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Twangiza mine produced 29,445 ounces in the fourth quarter, with the Namoya mine yielding an another 8,791 ounces,
the company said in a press release.
