Augusta Industries Inc. (TSX: V.AAO, Stock Forum) jumped 14.3% to 4 cents Wednesday after the company said a subsidiary has shipped EFM corrosion monitoring systems to one of Saudi Arabia’s major oil and gas integrated producers. EFM stands for electric field mapping corrosion monitoring systems.

The shipment of the EFM Systems represents the corporation’s first shipment for field applications for the client after several lab tests of the EFM systems, the company said in a press release..

Wi2Wi Corp. (
TSX: V.YTY, Stock Forum) rose 83% to 11 cents, after the company released its financial results for the year ended December 31, 2014.

Wi2WI is a vertically integrated manufacturer, providing precision timing devices, frequency control products and microwave filters to the global market.

“We have had a very eventful year, where we have seen the Wi2Wi increase its sales, restructured the operations to reduce overheads and the acquisition of the net operating assets and the product lines of the Precision Devices will help grow the company in the coming years,’’ said Wi2Wi President and CEO Zachariah Mathews in a press release.

CO2 Solutions Inc. (TSX: V.CST, Stock Forum) jumped 17% to 21 cents on volume of 8 million shares. The Quebec company said it has accelerated the pursuit of commercial opportunities by bringing forward the operation of its carbon capture demonstration project.

Initial operation of the demonstration, involving the capture of approximately 10 tonnes per day of CO2, will now take place for at least 1,000 hours at Salaberry-de-Valleyfield near Montreal, where the pilot unit was constructed, the company said in a press release.
