Temex Resources (TSX: V.TME, Forum) soared in the market today when the company announced that its board had received a superior proposal from Lake Shore Gold as defined in the arrangement agreement between Temex and Oban Mining Corporation.
According to the news release, Lake Shore proposes to acquire all of the outstanding common shares in Temex by way of a court-approved plan of arrangement where each Temex shareholder would receive 0.105 of a common share in Lake Shore for every common Temex share held.
Shares were up 109.09% to $0.115 per share.
Augusta Industries (TSX: V.AAO, Forum)came forward with some good news for investors today when the company announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Fox-Tech Canada, had entered into a non-disclosure agreement with Japan-based Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (“MHIA”). Fox-Tech reps will be meeting with a team from MHIA on July 28, 2015, to explore how Fox-Tech can support MHIA.
According to the
news release, the company also wrapped up a $1.0 million non-brokered private placement and expects to use the funds for general working capital.
Shares were up 28.57% to $0.09 per share.
