Kootenay Silver (TSX: V.KTN, Stock Forum) shares rose 5.4% to 97 cents on Tuesday after the silver project developer announced assay results from drill holes DH 141 to 188 as part of its Phase V drill and resource expansion program on its flagship Promontorio Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico.

Drilling highlights included hole DH 186 with over 31.7 metres grading 200 grams per tonne silver, 1.21 grams per tonne gold and 1.79% lead plus zinc, including over 5.0 metres grading 808 grams per tonne silver, 1.83 grams per tonne gold and 6.88% lead plus zinc.
