Azarga Metals releases exploration plan for copper-silver in Russia

Azarga Metals Corp. (TSX: V.AZR, EUUNF, Forum) on Monday announced a proposed work program for the second phase of physical exploration at its Unkur Copper-Silver Project in eastern Russia.

The second phase of exploration at Unkur will be carried out during the 2017-2018 field season and will focus on the potential for the discovery of additional copper and silver mineralization from three target concepts.

Azarga was in the news recently when it filed a technical report in support of the maiden resource estimate for the Unkur project which was announced on April 4, 2017.

The estimate is an inferred mineral resource of 42 million tonnes at 0.52% copper and 38 grams per ton silver, containing 220,000 tonnes or 480 million pounds of copper and 52 million ounces of silver.
