BlueBird to Acquire Australian Lithium Projects

BlueBird Battery Metals Inc.(TSX: V.BATT, OTCQB: BBBMF, Forum) on Monday announced that it will acquire 100% of the shares of private Australian corporation Southern Lithium Pty Ltd. The transaction includes 12 tenements totaling 664 square kilometres in Western Australia with demonstrated potential for significant lithium oxide discoveries and historical exploration focused on gold as well as base metal potential which identified numerous pegmatite swarms.

The Company other project in Western Australia, the Ashburton Cobalt Project returned significant cobalt grades of up to 0.42 per-cent at surface, confirming the presence of high-grade mineralization in multiple locations.
