Stockhouse recently covered the Arcview Group’s 2019 cannabis investment conference in Vancouver. This year’s show was titled Cannabis and Cannabis Investing in the Wake of Legalization.

Unlike many industry events, Arcview 2019 was reserved for accredited investors only. This event is an opportunity for investors to get exposure to some of the earlier-stage private and newly-listed public companies that provide ground-floor opportunities for investors.

Stockhouse is here to help. For non-accredited investors (or accredited investors who were unable to attend Arcview 2019), Stockhouse is hosting another in a series of our Virtual Investor Conferences. We not only provide clips with several of the attending companies, we’ve arranged with the CEO’s or other senior management of these companies to make themselves available at the end of their clip for a Q&A session with investors who are logged into the Conference.

Registration is now open for our “Virtual” Arcview 2019 coverage. Secure your spot for this event here. Arcview 2019: Virtual Conference goes LIVE May 2, 2019 at 12:00 pm (EDT), 9:00 am PDT.

Each of the attending companies has ½ hour reserved, which includes the clip itself as well as the post-video Q&A. The Virtual Conference is scheduled as follows. Investors can also visit the virtual “exhibit hall” where they can view/download investor kits, annual reports, and other documentation made available by these select companies.

Opening Address/Keynote Interview - Troy Dayton - CEO Arcview - (11:50 am – 12 noon EDT)

12:00 pm EDT (noon) - Hemptown USA (Damien Lowry)
12:30 pm EDT - 4Front Ventures Inc (Kris Krane)
1:00 pm EDT - ManifestSeven (Sturges Karban)
1:30 pm EDT - FSD Pharma Inc (Dr. Raza Bokhari)
2:00 pm EDT - Isracann Biosciences (Sean Bromley)

Stockhouse’s Cindy Broad kicks off the event with a keynote interview with the CEO of the Arcview Group, Troy Dayton. Tune in as Dayton frames this event for investors. Following this is 30 minutes with each of the 5 companies that we are featuring in this Virtual Conference event.

Hemptown USA (12:00 – 12:30 pm EDT)

This is a private Company focusing on “feminized” (high-CBD) hemp, with its flagship facility located in Oregon’s Emerald Triangle. Hemptown is already cultivating hemp (and generating revenues), with the Company’s first harvest in 2018. Hemptown’s cultivation boasts high yields of 2,000 pounds (roughly 1,000 kilograms) per acre. The Company is looking to expand into additional U.S. states, with California, Colorado and Kentucky being targeted first.

4Front Ventures Inc (12:30 – 1:00 pm EDT)

Another (previously) private cannabis company based in the U.S., following its recent combination with Cannex Capital (CSE: CNNX, OTCQX: CNXXF), this is now a publicly traded company, continuing to trade under the Cannex symbol and name. The combined entity now features seed-to-soil vertical integration, with a management team with broad experience in manufacturing, finance, real estate, and distribution/logistics.

ManifestSeven (1:00 – 1:30 pm EDT)

Also a private cannabis company, ManifestSeven is a California-based company that has created “a fully integrated omnichannel platform for legal cannabis”. Also dubbed my management as a “cannabis superhighway”, Manifest Seven already has distribution hubs from Sacremento to San Diego. This is a fully licensed distribution network that currently spans the state of California, with longer term plans to extend this model into additional U.S. states.

FSD Pharma Inc (CSE: HUGE, OTCQB: FSDDF, Forum) (1:30 – 2:00 pm EDT)

Already public, FSD Pharma is familiar to many of Stockhouse’s cannabis investors. First covered in a full-length feature article from June 28, 2018, FSD Pharma is a licensed producer under The Cannabis Act, earning its cultivation license in October 2017. In addition to its high-quality indoor cannabis cultivation, the Company is also very active in cannabis R&D targeting medicinal applications for cannabis as a treatment for chronic paid, fibromyalgia, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Isracann Biosciences (2:00 – 2:30 pm EDT)

A private company, this is Israel’s “first pure-play cannabis firm”. Israel has recently legalized the medicinal use of cannabis, but even prior to this, this is a jurisdiction that was already very active in cannabis biopharma research. Isracann has acquired 3 farms in Israel and has cultivation licenses in place to cultivate up to 580,000 square feet of cannabis. With an ideal climate for cannabis cultivation, Isracann is not only targeting domestic demand but is looking to become a cannabis supplier to major European markets as well.
