Tilray to Acquire Alberta Cannabis Retail Chain FOUR20

Canadian cannabis mega-producer Tilray Inc. (TLRY) has announced plans to buy a chain of cannabis retail stores in Alberta.
The Nanaimo BC-based licensed producer said it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all issued and outstanding shares of 420 Investments Ltd., or FOUR20 – an Alberta-based pot retailer six licensed cannabis retail locations and has 16 additional high-traffic locations Alberta, including in Calgary, Canmore and Edmonton.
The $110-million deal, which is still subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the first half of next year. The company said it will purchase Four20 – which currently operates – through its wholly owned subsidiary, High Park Holdings Ltd.
