Aurora Cannabis (T.ACB) announced Monday that Terry Booth is retiring from the company's board of directors. Booth, who co-founded the Company back in 2014, steered the company from a lowly medical pot producer to a global cannabis colossus, which at one point was worth in excess of $12 billion.

Booth departed as Aurora's CEO in February 2020 and since then, the company has announced more than $1 billion in write-downs, about 1,200 layoffs, and the closure of several of its facilities. But Booth will not completely retire. He was appointed to the board of medical cannabis and psychedelics company, PharmaDrug Inc. (CSE.BUZZ), and has started a new venture suppling PPE gear for front-line medical workers.
