Canopy Growth Corp. (
TSX.WEED) – the world’s largest cannabis producer –has announced that they have entered into a definitive arrangement agreement under which Canopy will acquire all of
Supreme Cannabis Company Inc. (
TSX.FIRE) issued and outstanding common shares (the "Supreme Cannabis Shares") in a transaction valued at approximately $435 million on a fully-diluted basis.
Smiths Falls ON-based Canopy said the acquisition will see Supreme Cannabis’s 7Acres, Sugarleaf, and Hi-way brands join Canopy's roster, which already includes Tweed, Tokyo Smoke, Quatreau and Doja.
