This summer has seen a surge of activity in esports, even compared to the summer before it. If this is any indication of what we are in for ahead of the all-important holiday season, now is a good time to revisit some companies in the market.

GameSquare Esports Inc. (CSE: GSQ) felt a bump this week on news that it has formed a gaming partnership with Roc Nation Sports, a subdivision of Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, for athletes, brands and properties.

TGS Esports Inc. (TSX-V: TGS) reported record monthly revenue of $282,220 in first month of new fiscal year, following the release of new features for its Red Pepper platform, selling out its Lets Make Big Moves event, as well as other tournament. TGS also has partnerships with institutions including NorQuest College, Wilfred Laurier University, University Canada West, LaSalle College, and others

Another company seeing good revenues in Q2 2021 was Enthusiast Gaming Holdings Inc. (TSX: EGLX), who earned $37.1 million compared to the same quarter last years where revenue was $7million. Gross profits were $8 million, compared to $3.2 million in Q2 2020.

Continuing its partnership with the Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and the official Polish Digital Motorsport Championship, ESE Entertainment Inc. (TSX-V: ESE) will provide marketing services for the 2021 Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Poland.

Touting “an exceedingly comfortable” new design, durable construction, and refined style, Corsair Gaming Inc. (NASDAQ: CRSR) launched its HS80 RGB WIRELESS Gaming Headset on Friday, offering gamers industry-leading SLIPSTREAM WIRELESS technology.

With a range of 18 metres (60 ft.) and up to 20 hours of wireless battery life, the headset can connect with up to three compatible Corsair devices – headset, keyboard, and mouse – with a single USB receiver.

Bragg Gaming Group (TSX: BRAG) announced this week that it has brought its ORYX content live in Serbia through its Hub platform, which even features exclusive and localized content from ORYX RGS partners GAMOMAT, Peter & Sons, CandleBets, Golden Hero, Kalamba, Givme Games.

Simplicity Esports and Gaming Company (OTCQB: WINR) entered into a joint venture agreement with esports streaming channel ESTV to host multiple Ultimate Gaming League and Fortnite Box Fighting Championship live in-person events inside its esports gaming centers. ESTV will provide streaming, broadcasting, and production of the events.
