T.WEED reports Q2 Fiscal 2022 financial results; shares fell sharply on Friday

Click to enlargeCanopy Growth Corp. (TSX.WEED) – the world’s largest cannabis producer – has announced its financial results for the second quarter fiscal 2022 ended September 30, 2021. All financial information in this press release is reported in Canadian dollars, unless otherwise indicated. The company’s stock plunged 10% on Friday after the report of its second-quarter results.

Canopy said its second quarter loss narrowed to CDN$11.06 million, or 3 cents-a-share, from CDN$32.06 million, or 9 cents-a-share in the year-ago period. Revenue fell to CDN$145.6 million from CDN$150.8 million.
