The Toronto-based company says its mission is to bring Off-Grid solar power systems into the 21st century. As telecom wireless and wired networks have gone before it, off-grid wireless power must have Smart energy management and power control. Clear Blue is the first company to bring reliable management capabilities to wireless power. The Toronto-based company says its mission is to provide clean, managed, wireless power at a lower cost, for lighting, internet of things devices and mission critical telecom applications like cellular, satellite/WiFi, and smart cities.

So how do they accomplish this mission? Simply put, throught the development and sales of their state-of-the-art smart off-grid power solutions, coupled with the ongoing energy management and control of their cloud platform. And it’s a cloud platform that is managing power systems in 37 countries around the world. In the News

On March 1st, CBLU announced that it had entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with iSAT Africa, an integrated communications services provider serving Africa and the Middle East. The order is worth an initial amount of CDN$2 million, with a total estimated 5-year Life-Time Contract Value, which includes capacity upgrades and ongoing service management by Clear Blue, bringing the total value to CDN$3 million. The company says the first 30 systems will ship in Q1 2022 and the remainder of the project is subject to iSAT successfully concluding financing for the remaining rollout.

Rakesh Kukreja, Founder and Managing Director of iSAT Africa, commented:

“Clear Blue Technologies is the market leader in providing smart, reliable, off-grid power for mission-critical telecom infrastructure. Through a number of previous deployments with Clear Blue, we have seen the strength of Clear Blue’s technology and the positive impact it has on our business model and service to our customers.”

And, most recently, Clear Blue announced that it had entered an MOU with Global Communications Extension Services (GCES) – a telecom service provider in the business of rural telephony – to provide the Company’s Smart, Solar Off-Grid power systems and service to power telecommunications sites in Nigeria. The Company targets rolling out more than 1,000 cell phone sites, all powered by Clear Blue over the next 5 years to support 9Mobile and other premier telcos.

Its predictive energy forecasting and troubleshooting and remediation tools deliver the lowest upfront cost solution and the lowest ongoing costs of any alternative in the market. And given the specific design capabilities for modular upgradability, we can grow these systems as our revenue and services grow.”

On the product front, Clear Blue recently launched two new Illumient smart off-grid lighting solutions to meet growing market demand for cost-effective, off-grid, intelligent lighting.
