A successful Canadian restaurant franchise and a long-time customer of Givex Information Technology Group Ltd. (TSX: GIVX, Forum), opened its first US location earlier this year.

On January 6th, 2022, The Captain's Boil added to its chain when it opened its first US location at 2680 Cumberland Mall in Atlanta, Georgia., with plans to open three more in the region.

With locations spread across Canada from Nova Scotia to British Columbia, the Captain’s Boil is a seafood restaurant.

In a February 2022 news release, Givex’s CEO Mo Chaar praised the restaurant chain for its expanse into the US. The Captain’s Boil also pivoted its business by strengthening its takeout/delivery platforms with Givex technology.

“We look forward to growing with them as they expand their physical footprint across North America.”

Givex is a global fintech company providing merchants with customer engagement, point-of-sale, and payment solutions in a single platform.

The Captain’s Boil uses a full suite of Givex technology in its restaurants, including point-of-sale, kitchen display, gift card, loyalty, and inventory control systems, in addition to an online ordering app.
