The company attained the CMMI Level 4 rating ahead of CMS' required schedule of September 2013.

This CMMI Level 4 rating encompasses the Drug Data Process System and Payment Reconciliation System, Retiree Drug Subsidy and ViPS Medicare System programs. The Enterprise Systems Development contract is a multiple-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, performance-based contract awarded in August 2007. Under the contract, General Dynamics provides systems development and integration, system and application engineering and technical support to improve the automated systems and agency-wide applications of the Health and Human Services department.
