RENO, NEVADA--(Marketwire - Feb. 7, 2013) - Allied Nevada Gold Corp. ("Allied Nevada" or the "Company") (TSX:ANV)(NYSE Amex:ANV)(NYSE MKT:ANV) announces that it will hold its 2013 Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the "Annual Meeting") on May 2, 2013, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. EST at The Design Exchange, 234 Bay Street, Toronto-Dominion Centre, Toronto, Ontario. The record date for determining the holders of the Company's common stock entitled to vote at the Annual Meeting is March 8, 2013.
