Accenture Recognized as Informatica 2012 Alliance Partner of the Year

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been named Informatica’s (Nasdaq: INFA) 2012 Alliance Partner of the Year as a result of driving more sourced revenue for Informatica than any other partner globally. Accenture has won the Informatica Alliance Partner of the Year award each year it has been awarded in 2007, 2008, 2010 and now 2012.

Accenture and Informatica help joint clients address their data challenges on the analytics journey to ROI by turning data-related issues into business outcomes. In addition to driving incremental revenue for Informatica, the two companies worked together to accelerate the speed of data migration capabilities onto business software applications from leading vendors, helping clients reduce IT costs, identify and address quality issues and ultimately improve business performance.

“We’re pleased that Accenture has once again been honored with Informatica’s Alliance Partner of the Year award in recognition of our ability to deliver outstanding results for clients on the Informatica platform,” said Sajid Usman, global managing director, Accenture Digital, Data and Analytics, Accenture. “Our success in this category year after year is evidence of our ability to deliver innovative solutions in areas such as big data, cloud, data migration, data quality and master data management, helping clients to integrate and harness actionable business insights through analytics.”

“Our alliance with Accenture is an essential element in our partner ecosystem and Informatica’s overriding focus on customer success,” said Brad Kern, senior vice president, Worldwide Alliances, Informatica. “The highly collaborative partnership has resulted in innovative and repeatable offerings across the entire portfolio of Informatica solutions. We’re pleased to name Accenture Alliance Partner of the Year for the fourth time in a row.”

The Accenture and Informatica alliance provides organizations with access to deeply skilled resources, asset-driven delivery methods, and data integration solutions to address business and IT imperatives related to information management and analytics.

Since its inception in 1999, the alliance has delivered more than 1,000 projects globally and across all major industries using a comprehensive, unified data platform to help clients achieve business agility, consistency and ultimately competitive advantage underpinned by cost effective data management.
