During a seventeen year career at Sanmina-SCI (Nasdaq:SANM), Mr. Pillai served in a number of executive positions at the global design and manufacturing services company, most recently as President & Chief Operating Officer of the Company. Prior to joining Contec, Mr. Pillai served as an advisor, investor, operating partner and board member to a number of leading private equity and venture capital firms, where he worked with portfolio companies in diverse markets and technologies to guide investment decisions and improve operational and financial performance.
Mr. Pillai succeeds Lawrence Young of AlixPartners LLC, who led Contec through its successful reorganization.
