WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 14, 2013) - Snipp Interactive Inc., an international provider of mobile marketing solutions listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX VENTURE:SPN), today announced the launch of SnippWine (, a full-service solution set to meet the mobile marketing needs of the wine industry. In partnership with NXT-Wine Mobile, Snipp has already signed its first two clients, prominent industry leaders Domine Chandon and Huneeus Vintners, who will be utilizing the SnippWine solution to create a host of mobile-based marketing programs.

SnippWine provides a full suite of mobile-based marketing tools for wineries including shipping alerts, a mobile site builder, social sharing functionality, its SnippCheck ( mobile receipt processing solution to power rebate and coupon programs, a contest engine and a host of mobile response options including customized QR codes, SMS, MMS, augmented reality and image recognition on wine labels.

Using SnippWine, wineries can create a variety of different programs such as minimizing returns on their wine club merchandise by adding shipment notifications on deliveries; creating customized QR codes that take users to a dedicated microsite specific to a particular wine label; implementing mobile-based loyalty program to increase repeat sales; allowing users to snap a photo of the wine label to get special offers and reviews about the wine and many more.

SnippWine programs are provided on a full-service basis and all campaigns are customizable, creating endless possibilities for brands to connect with their customers.

Snipp has an existing partnership with eWinery Solutions, the leading e-commerce platform for the wine industry with more than 500 clients in the U.S. and major wine producing regions of the world. Snipp is integrating its SnippWine solution into eWinery's platform. eWinery customers will therefore be able to launch and manage mobile programs through the eWinery interface itself.
