Hexcel Corporation Announces U.S. Deputy Secretary of Commerce Rebecca Blank to Visit Salt Lake City to Highlight New Manufacturing Initiative
Hexcel Corporation (NYSE: HXL)(Paris: HXL) today announced that on
Thursday, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Commerce Rebecca Blank will visit
Hexcel Corporation in West Valley City, Utah, where she will highlight a
new Obama Administration initiative that would accelerate the resurgence
of manufacturing and create jobs in cities across the country. The
region’s economic development strategy is a model for the type of
economic growth encouraged by this new initiative, which was included in
the President’s 2014 budget request.
On her visit, Deputy Secretary Blank will take a closed-press tour of
Hexcel’s Salt Lake City facility and participate in a roundtable with
local business, government and educational leaders. She will deliver
remarks discussing the new Administration initiative, which is designed
to drive business investment to the U.S. She will also take questions
from the press.
