Herbalife-Sponsored Heather Jackson Wins 2013 Wildflower Triathlon for Second Consecutive Year
Global nutrition company, Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE: HLF), announced today
that its star triathlete, Heather Jackson, won the 2013 Wildflower
Triathlon in the Professional Women's Division Long Course distance.
This race marks the third straight win in a row this season for Jackson,
after winning both the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and Ironman 70.3,
California, Oceanside. The long course distance is comprised of a
1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride, and 13.1-mile run. In 2012, the
Wildflower Triathlon, which takes place in San Antonio, California, was
considered Jackson's breakout win as she moved into the lead on the run
and continued on to set a new course record.
Attracting approximately 7,500 participants, the Wildflower Triathlon is
one of the largest triathlons in the world.
