New York City, New York -- (May 31, 2013)

The U.S. equity market rebounded on Thursday, May 30, 2013, after falling sharply in the previous trading session. Stocks made some gains as some disappointing U.S. economic data raised hopes that the Federal Reserve will continue with its $85 billion a month bond buying program. The Fed’s ultra-loose monetary policy measures have been one of the major reasons behind the rally in equity markets. However, in recent weeks, there has been speculation that the central bank will start winding up its bond buying program as early as June in the wake of improved economic outlook. However, Thursday’s weak economic data highlights the fact that the economic recovery is fragile, and therefore, the Feds are likely to continue with its monetary easing measures for a while. The financial sector was one of the best performers in the S&P 500 yesterday. The major movers in the sector included TD Ameritrade Holding Corp. (NYSE: AMTD), ING Groep N.V. (ADR) (NYSE: ING), CoreLogic Inc. (NYSE: CLGX), Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (USA) (NYSE: BAM), and Assurant Inc. (NYSE: AIZ).StockCall has posted free technical research reports on AMTD, ING, CLGX, BAM, and AIZ and these can be accessed by signing up at
