Hyduke Announces Results of Vote for Election of Directors

NISKU, AB, June 17, 2013 /CNW/ - Hyduke Energy Services Inc. ("Hyduke" or the "Company") (TSX: HYD) reports that at its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders held on June 13, 2013 there were a total of 104 shareholders voting in person and by proxy holding 10,276,261 common shares being 42.47% of the total number of Hyduke's issued and outstanding common shares.

Each of the directors listed as nominees in the management proxy circular dated April 19, 2013 were elected directors of the Company until the next Annual Meeting, however, according to a Majority Voting Policy of Hyduke, if the number of proxy votes withheld for a particular director nominee is greater than the votes in favour of such nominee, the director nominee is required to promptly submit his/her resignation to the Chair of Board of Directors following the applicable meeting of the corporation's shareholders.  As a consequence of the above voting results, Mr. Erv Lack has tendered his resignation and it has been accepted by the Chair of the Board of Directors.

In a directors' meeting held subsequent to this shareholders' meeting, Mr. John Pinsent was appointed as Chair of the Board of Directors of Hyduke.

Additionally, Mr. David Yager was appointed to the Board of Directors of Hyduke.  David Yager is an experienced executive and board member with a long career in the Western Canadian energy industry.  Some of Dave's extensive experience includes: Chairman and CEO of HSE Integrated Ltd. (a TSX listed company) from 2003 to 2012; founder, President and Director of Integrated Production Services Ltd. (a TSX listed company) from 1994 to 2002; founder, Director and Officer of Tesco Corporation (a TSX listed company) from 1988 to 1994; Director of the Petroleum Services Association of Canada (PSAC) from 2006 to 2011, and Chairman of PSAC from 2009 to 2011.
