"Being recognized as a Gallup Great Workplace, two years in a row, is truly an honor," said Mark A. Turner, WSFS President and Chief Executive Officer. "It speaks to our culture of engagement and to our ongoing commitment to serving our community, in world-class fashion."
Based on the most rigorous workplace research, the Gallup Great Workplace Excellence in Leadership Award recognizes companies with 500 to 1,000 associates whose distinguished leaders have driven superior engagement performance. To qualify, companies must achieve minimum thresholds of 80% associate response rate and a grand mean of 4.15 in at least half of the company's workgroups on the annual Q12 survey. The Gallup Q12 survey is taken annually to measure engagement levels and most recently, WSFS achieved a 95% response rate and a grand mean of 4.39. Other considerations to qualify for the award include best practices within the organization, innovative thinking and examples of initiatives and processes that are used to create and sustain a culture of engagement.
