English Premier League Champions, Manchester United have today announced
a regional partnership with one of Thailand’s leading telecommunications
companies, True Corporation Plc.
The three year agreement will see the True Group team up with United in
a number of different areas. TrueMove H will become Manchester United’s
Official Mobile Partner for Thailand; and TrueVisions, True Group’s pay
TV operator and leader in sports and entertainment content with the most
channels including HD, will be the Official MUTV broadcaster for
Thailand.
With more than 70 million viewers tuning into a United game in the first
7 months of last season, the partnership is predicted to be popular
amongst fans. By partnering with Manchester United, one of the world’s
top football teams, TrueMove H is bringing a world-class sports
experience for consumers in Thailand to enjoy via their mobile devices
utilising the best in 4G and 3G technologies.
In addition to this, True will also become an Official Associate Match
Sponsor for the Bangkok leg of the Club’s Tour 2013, presented by Aon.
