KB Home (NYSE: KBH), one of the nation’s largest and most recognized
homebuilders, today announced that it has acquired more than 300 lots
within the WestPark master-planned community in Roseville for a new
collection of Built to Order™ homes. Development of the site will begin
in the coming months, with an anticipated grand opening scheduled for
early 2014.
KB Home has enjoyed many years of success in Roseville, where it
recently released for sale the model homes at its Valley Meadows at
Fiddyment Farm community, with only one such home now remaining
available for purchase. It is also where the builder opened a new
community called Garden Grove, in early April. The builder is actively
selling new homes at eight locations throughout Sacramento and the
Central Valley, with plans for future growth.
“We are very excited to continue to expand our presence in Roseville,
where we’ve experienced past success and where we know homebuyer demand
is high,” said Chris Cady, president of KB Home’s Central California
division. “Being a KB homeowner in Roseville means you can take
advantage of everything the city has to offer, including highly-rated
schools, close proximity to shopping, dining and entertainment at the
Westfield Galleria, and a convenient commute to Downtown Sacramento, the
Sierra foothills, Lake Tahoe and surrounding areas.”
KB Home is distinguished by its Built to Order homebuilding approach
that empowers shoppers to make choices about their home’s design and
functionality. Models at KB Home communities showcase the various
components that can be included in a KB home, and KB homebuyers are
guided by a personal design consultant at the KB Home Studio to help
them build a home that is unique to their style and taste.
“With the dynamic combination of an extremely appealing location, the
ability to personalize your very own new home, peace of mind that comes
with our 10-year warranty, and energy-efficient design features that can
help keep utility bills low, we’re confident there will be many new KB
homeowners in Roseville very soon,” Cady continued.
KB Home’s acquisition in WestPark includes an assortment of lot sizes
which will allow the builder to offer numerous collections of home
designs to appeal to a variety of buyers. KB Home plans to initially
introduce two collections of new home designs, with single-story and
two-story options offering up to five bedrooms, four baths, and two or
three-car garages. Every new KB home is built to ENERGY STAR® certified
standards and includes WaterSense labeled faucets and fixtures, which
can potentially translate into significant savings for homebuyers on
their monthly utility costs.
