Snipp Launches Innovative Augmented Reality Campaign for National Bank of Kuwait

WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Aug. 6, 2013) - Snipp Interactive Inc., an international provider of mobile marketing solutions listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX VENTURE:SPN), today announced the launch of an augmented reality sweepstakes campaign for the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK).

Using the SnippAR app (, branded as SnippKhayal in the Middle East, customers can scan posters, which promote the sweepstakes, to experience a virtual 360° tour of the luxury grand prize of NBK's Summer Campaign, an Azimut yacht.

The tour delivers an innovative, immersive experience to NBK customers and can be viewed on Apple and Android devices. Snipp designed and developed the app as well as provided strategic advice and support around content and creative assets.

This is the second augmented reality campaign that Snipp has conducted in the Middle East in the past month, with a few more set to launch shortly. SnippAR allows marketers to create seamless and immersive augmented reality experiences for their customers.

Brands can use SnippAR to deliver a host of branded mobile experiences to consumers including virtual visits, 360º product tours, store/location finders, interactive maps, product catalog activations and commerce, virtual gaming experiences and more.
