ATLANTA, Sept. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- EarthLink, Inc., (NASDAQ: ELNK) a leading IT services and communications provider, today announced the launch of its new 4G Internet-at-Home wireless Internet plans for consumers. EarthLink's service will utilize the Clearwire 4G network via a wholesale agreement announced last September. EarthLink will offer two packages ideal for wireless Internet access for the home in over 80 cities nationwide. Starting at $29.95 a month, the At Home service delivers wireless Internet on up to 8 Wi-Fi enabled devices including smartphones, tablets and laptops and does not require a term commitment. This launch follows EarthLink's June 2013 launch of its new 4G Internet-on-the-Go wireless mobile Internet plans.
EarthLink's 4G Internet-at-Home Standard Plan for $29.95 a month includes Internet speeds up to 3Mbps and 5GB of monthly data. The Premium Plan, priced at $49.95 a month, doubles that speed and data usage to 6Mbps and 10 GB of monthly data. EarthLink also offers incremental data packages starting at $4.95 per month that can be added or removed at any time for a customer-tailored data offering.
