Voip-Pal.com Inc. (“Voip-Pal”, “Company”) (OTC Pink: VPLM) is pleased to
announce that the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has allowed its
patent application “Uninterrupted Transmission of Internet Protocol
Transmissions During Endpoint Changes.” Allowance means that prosecution
is closed for the patent application and it is allowed for issuance as a
patent. The Uninterrupted Transmission technology allows for seamless
transition from one internet access point to another providing
continuous, uninterrupted connectivity of a mobile device.
The Uninterrupted Transmission Patent is the fifth and final in
Voip-Pal’s portfolio of intellectual property. The Lawful Intercept,
Enhanced 911 and Routing, Billing and Rating patents were all issued
earlier this year. The Mobile Gateway patent was allowed in August and
is currently in the final stages before issue.
Dr. Thomas Sawyer, Chairman and CEO of Voip-Pal stated, “With the Notice
of Allowance from the U.S. Patent Office for the Uninterrupted
Transmission of IP, this concludes the five patent applications in the
Voip-Pal portfolio of technology. With these issued and allowed patents,
Voip-Pal is in a very strong position to influence the future of VoIP
telephony.”
