Sylvia Pozezanac has been named managing director and global head of
consultant relations for the Strategic Solutions Group at Prudential
Financial, Inc. (NYSE:PRU), the company announced today. She is
responsible for building senior level relationships with global
investment, employee benefit and retirement consultants on behalf of
Prudential’s U.S. Businesses.
“Sylvia has been a longtime leader in the retirement consulting industry
and comes to Prudential with wide-ranging experience, from financial
risk management to client and business management,” said Kevin Myers,
who heads the Strategic Solutions Group. “We are thrilled to have
someone with Sylvia’s expertise as we continue to work closely with
consultants to build solutions that address the many challenges our
clients face.”
Pozezanac spent 26 years at Towers Watson (including one of its
predecessor companies, Towers Perrin) focusing on financial risk
assessment and management, as well as on design, implementation, funding
and accounting of retirement plans, both retirement income and retiree
medical programs. She has worked in all three of Towers Watson’s U.S.
divisions as well as in Canada and the U.K., where she held a variety of
leadership and consulting roles. She most recently served as a senior
consultant in Towers Watson’s North American Retirement practice, where
she was a joint leader of sales and marketing and a member of its
leadership team. Earlier, she was the global leader of Retirement Risk
Solutions, Towers Perrin’s risk management business for retirement
programs.
Pozezanac is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries. She received a
bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Concordia University in Montreal.
