Cartus Wins Thought Leadership Award for Its Biggest Challenges Global Relocation Survey at the American Expatriate Management & Mobility Awards Gala

DANBURY, CT--(Marketwired - Oct 31, 2013) - Cartus Corporation, a leading provider of domestic and global relocation services, this month was awarded the "Thought Leadership: Best Survey" Award at the American Expatriate Management & Mobility Awards (EMMAs).

The award was presented to Cartus for its Biggest Challenges in Global Relocation Survey by The Forum for Expatriate Management at its American EMMAs gala in Las Vegas. Cartus was selected by an independent panel of industry professionals.

"For over a decade, Cartus has been highly focused on creating insightful, industry-leading surveys and research," said Shelley Northrop, vice president of marketing for Cartus. "We are especially proud to be recognized by The Forum of Expatriate Management for our thought leadership role within the industry. Our Biggest Challenges survey explores the unique challenges in 11 regions of the world, offering real-world insight and best practices from company respondents."

Cartus' Biggest Challenges survey, published in December 2012, found that controlling relocation/assignment costs and complying with laws and regulations ranked first (61 percent) and second (51 percent), respectively. The 2013 Biggest Challenges survey will be released next month.

Globally, Cartus has been quite successful garnering EMMAs as well. In September, Cartus took home three awards at the Asian Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs), including: the Best Vendor Partnership Award with its client Procter & Gamble (P&G); the Most Innovative Use of Technology in Global Mobility Award; and, Relocation Management Company of the Year Award, for the second straight year.

In addition, The Forum for Expatriate Management announced that Cartus has been nominated for four European EMMA awards including: Best Vendor Partnership with its Client GE; Most Innovative Use of Technology in Global Mobility Program Management; Thought Leadership for the Cartus 2012 Biggest Challenges Survey; and, Relocation Management Company of the Year. Award winners will be announced at the November 8th gala.
