MESA, ARIZ.--(Marketwired - Apr 1, 2014) - Iveda® (OTCQB: IVDA), the pioneer in cloud video hosting technology, will introduce several innovative cloud-based video hosting services to the surveillance and security industry during ISC West. The 3-day event at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas will start on April 2, 2014. Iveda will showcase Sentir™, its new proprietary Software as a Service (SaaS) video management platform with newly-developed video streaming and storage technology. It provides the video surveillance functionality without the cost and hassle of traditional digital video recorders (DVRs) and network video recorders (NVRs), all delivered from the cloud as an application.
"We are thrilled to be at ISC with our new cloud-hosted video surveillance solutions," said David Ly, chairman and CEO of Iveda. "Organizations already earning recurring monthly revenue will benefit from these offerings, which provide new revenue sources for them and new services for their customers. Bundling has become an effective proven business model for our industry."
Sentir will be licensed to companies around the world, including telecommunications companies (telcos), data centers, cable service providers and ISPs (Internet Service Providers). It enables these organizations to offer cloud video monitoring and surveillance services without the time and resources required for in-house development.
With Sentir, security integrators can now offer cloud video services to customers who prefer to reduce their capital outlays and instead pay a monthly fee for their security surveillance needs. This new service offering provides security integrators with recurring monthly revenue, while eliminating the need to build and maintain their own cloud infrastructure.
Iveda's Express Surveillance System (ESS), a fully-integrated portable plug-and-play surveillance system, along with other Iveda cloud video-hosting services, will be demonstrated utilizing the Sentir platform.
At its booth, #9117 in Hall A, Iveda will also feature VEMO™ cameras with the IvedaOnBoard™ video-hosting service, the first fully integrated in-vehicle surveillance system streaming live video to the cloud. This untethered surveillance solution utilizes cellular service to stream live and recorded video from vehicles to the Iveda cloud. Video from a single vehicle or an entire fleet can be viewed on a single online dashboard. The solution includes a map-based user interface for tracking the location of vehicles using VEMO's Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite navigation technology.
Having already earned the honor of one of the Top 30 Technology Innovations of 2013 by Security Sales and Integration magazine, VEMO and IvedaOnBoard will also be featured in ISC's New Product Showcase (NPS). Sponsored by the Security Industry Association, NPS recognizes innovative products introduced within the past year.
Iveda will also demo IvedaMobile™, the cloud-video hosting service that transforms smartphones into IP Cameras and IvedaXchange™, an information aggregator on an online dashboard. Both services were introduced at ISC last year.
