CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - June 23, 2014) - Total Energy Services Inc. ("Total") (TSX:TOT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dennis Hassel as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer effective July 1, 2014. Mr. Hassel will replace Mark Kearl, who has been with Total since 2005 and will assume a newly created senior operational role to support the continued growth and expansion of Total's Rentals and Transportation Services division.
Mr. Hassel brings to Total extensive financial and operational experience in the energy services industry in Canada, the United States and numerous international jurisdictions. Most recently, Mr. Hassel spent 11 years with a New York Stock Exchange listed diversified energy services firm as a senior finance executive responsible for Canadian and southeast Asian operations. Prior to entering the energy services industry in 1992, Mr. Hassel spent seven years with a multi-national accounting and financial advisory firm in their Canadian audit and financial advisory services divisions. Mr. Hassel received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary in 1985, his Canadian Chartered Accountant designation in 1990 and his United States Certified Public Accountant designation in 2000.
