MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 3, 2014 /CNW/ -- Louisiana-Pacific® (LP) CanExel® prefinished hardboard siding has introduced three new colours boosting its colour palette to 21, one of the broadest residential prefinished siding colour lines available in Canada. The new nature-inspired colours, developed together with Valspar, are Cliffside (an earthy dark brown), Sandalwood (a warm, inviting light brown), and Coastline (a calm medium gray).
"We are excited to bring these three new colours to life with the same premium quality you would expect from our five-coat, heat-cured finish," said LP CanExel Associate Segment Marketing Manager Anne Brannan. "Customers can easily enhance the beauty of their homes with these rich, dynamic tones that enable homeowners to make a statement about their own individual taste."
The new CanExel colours were informed by a survey of more than 500 architects, designers and homeowners in Canada and Europe. That survey, combined with trend analysis and design direction from Valspar, led to the stunning new hues.
"These colours are the result of the first colour collaboration between CanExel and Valspar," said Valspar Marketing Manager Craig Lyerly. "This is an excellent example of how Valspar is continually building upon our strong relationship with LP."
The three new CanExel prefinished siding colours, along with all 21 climate-tested CanExel siding colours, are available today from building centers throughout Canada and select markets in Europe.
