Avnet Selected as HP Learning Partner

Avnet Technology Solutions, the global IT solutions distribution leader and an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), today announced that its Avnet Services global business unit has been named an HP Learning Partner.

As an HP Learning Partner, Avnet can now equip its solution providers with authorized HP ExpertOne certification training. These specialized courses will focus on key technical areas required to support the design, deployment, administration and management of HP server, storage, networking, data centers, virtualization, cloud and converged infrastructure environments. The courses will initially be offered in the U.S. and Canada through Avnet Academy, Avnet Services’ education and training organization.

The information covered in the ExpertOne training portfolio is based on real-world experiences and unique insight into how people can best absorb information for faster learning, application and retention. Learners can choose from public instructor-led online courses, or schedule private classes to be delivered onsite. ExpertOne training from Avnet Academy will include a variety of new training activities that span the HP Enterprise Group portfolio, including those focused on servers, storage, networking and converged cloud. Specific courses include “Architecting HP Server Solutions,” “Building HP FlexFabric Data Centers,” “Designing HP SMB Storage Solutions” and more (as well as the soon-to-be-added “HP OneView”).
