TUCSON, AZ--(Marketwired - Feb 18, 2015) - AudioEye, Inc. (OTCQB: AEYE) ("AudioEye") today announced that Governor David A. Paterson will be working with AudioEye to develop business opportunities and provide the Company with a network of contacts in government, institutional and corporate markets for AudioEye's Web A11y Management Platform™. Governor Paterson was the first African-American Governor of New York State. He made history again when he became the first visually impaired person to address the Democratic National Convention.
"In spite of my achievements and those of other blind people, we are constantly confronted with obstacles presented by new technology that is leaving the visually impaired behind," stated Governor Paterson. "Even agencies within the same government that approved the Americans with Disabilities Act twenty-five years ago have not addressed these issues. AudioEye's technology assures access to governmental, institutional and corporate websites and may provide the greatest assistance to blind and other disabled people who wish to use the services of such organizations."
"Governor Paterson is an inspirational leader who will allow AudioEye to benefit from his unique network of contacts and his perspective as a leader who lives with blindness and understands the challenges and changes affecting government agencies as they relate to citizen-facing Internet-based services," stated Nathaniel Bradley, Chief Executive Officer of AudioEye. "We are proud to have Governor Paterson working with our team and we know he will help in establishing AudioEye as the technology leader in the field of Internet accessibility."
