Nhale (NHLE) Targets Legal Oregon Cannabis Market

CDXQ

HOUSTON, TX / ACCESSWIRE / February 24, 2015 / Nhale Inc. (OTCQB:NHLE) today announced it is in talks with the Oregon Cannabusiness Network (OCN), a benefit corporation, regarding a collaborative effort to acquire legal marijuana grow and production operations in that state. OCN helps Oregon owned companies prepare for licensing, assists with growth plans and provides exit strategies. Nhale intends to acquire the companies through its wholly-owned company Nhale Oregon Inc.

The collaboration under consideration will involve the acquisition of multiple wholesale grow operations and dispensaries and combining them under one name. Cost savings and competitive advantages will be provided by OCN such as centralized accounting, regulatory compliance, security, lab services, best practices, and union affiliation.

"As a benefit corporation, OCN has the freedom to use the power of business to help solve the social and environmental challenges that this new market will bring, and take actions that are in the best interests of the people of Oregon as well as its bottom line," said Lance Williams, President and CEO of Nhale. "We support this new definition of success in business, and encourage creating shared and durable prosperity through this program."

As part of the project, Nhale's acquired companies would be commercialized through OBN's holistic, functioning entity, allowing them to benefit from OBN's nearly 200 years of combined team member expertise and positioned to meet and maintain all licensing requirements.

In November 2014, Oregon voters approved Measure 91, legalizing the possession, private use and cultivation of marijuana by adults 21 and older. The measure will take effect on July 1, 2015 and lawmakers are now in the process of finalizing the rules governing production, processing and selling of marijuana.
