Offices of Howard G. Smith announces that a class action lawsuit has
been filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District
of New York on behalf of purchasers of Volaris Aviation Holding Company
(“Volaris” or the “Company”) (NYSE:VLRS) Ordinary Participation
Certificates in the form of American Depositary Shares pursuant and/or
traceable to the Company’s initial public offering on or about September
18, 2013 (the “IPO”). Volaris is a Mexico City-based provider of air
transportation services for passengers, cargo and mail in Mexico and
internationally.
The lawsuit alleges that the Company’s Registration Statement filed in
connection with its IPO failed to disclose certain material events,
including financial effects resulting from a change in the Company’s
airline reservation system and an expansion of competition in the
Tijuana and Guadalajara, Mexico markets, which was having an adverse
effect on the Company’s revenues and profit margins at the time of the
IPO. As a result, the financial information reported in the Registration
Statement was not indicative of the Company’s future operating results.
If you are a member of the Class described above, you have until April
27, 2015 to move the Court to serve as lead plaintiff, if you meet
certain legal requirements. To be a member of the Class you need not
take any action at this time; you may retain counsel of your choice or
take no action and remain an absent member of the Class. If you would
