RGS SmartStart is a fully integrated classroom pilot program which
includes all of the components needed to deploy a complete 1:1 digital
learning solution for a classroom of up to 30 students. The individual
elements are drawn from RGS’ existing portfolio of education
technologies and classroom support services, including devices,
classroom support applications, curriculum, professional development and
supporting services.
“Transitioning to a digitally-enabled classroom is not only a sizable
investment for school districts, but is also a tremendous
responsibility. The technology and curriculum decisions administrators
make and their ability to optimally deploy these solutions will
determine the ultimate success and competitiveness of their students,”
said Scott MacDonald, vice president and general manager, RGS. “The RGS
SmartStart pilot is designed to give schools the opportunity to
experience the benefits of a comprehensive digital learning deployment
without the substantial upfront investment or long term commitment.”
RGS SmartStart pilot features include:
• Access to 30 devices – either RGS Education Chromebook or RGS Windows
Wi-Fi Learning devices
• Classroom Management System
• Learning Management System
• Curriculum – English language arts, mathematics or science
