IAAP is a not-for-profit professional association with approximately 22,000 members and over 500 chapters worldwide. The IAAP's mission is to enhance the success of administrative professionals by providing opportunities for growth through education, community building and leadership development. Formerly known as National Secretaries Association, the name was changed in 1998 to the International Association of Administrative Professionals to recognize the varied job titles and the advancing role of administrative support staff in business.
