WHY: The hockey clinic is being held for children living with type 1 diabetes and their families.
Toronto Maple Leafs alumni will be on-hand to participate in the clinic and give these
children the opportunity to learn and spend time with their hockey heroes. The clinic
will also include a diabetes component that will educate the community's youth about
how to manage their disease and the importance of regular exercise and nutrition to
maintain a healthy lifestyle.
